Massage Therapy F.A.Q.

Everyone is different and it varies from person to person, but one massage per month is common.

Essence Acupuncture & Wellness takes pride in professionalism and care for our clients. During your session, you will be covered at all times with a sheet and a blanket. The only area that needs to be uncovered is the area being massaged. Before your massage session begins, you will have a consultation to discuss the areas that will be massaged. Some clients prefer to be completely undressed and some leave their undergarments on. It depends on your comfort level.

If there is an area that you are uncomfortable with, let your therapist know during your consultation. Your therapist can avoid that area. If that area needs to be worked on, your therapist can work on that area while leaving the sheets covering the area.
